Why I Am a Real Estate Doula?

I didn´t choose the name I didn’t choose to sound different, but because it was the only one that felt true.

The first time I used the word “doula” to describe what I do as a real estate advisor, people looked at me with curiosity.
A doula? Theperson who supports childbirth?

Exactly. And that’s precisely why the title represents me. Because buying or selling a property is not just a transaction, it’s a transformation.

It’s one of the most emotionally charged and stressful moments a person can go through: leaving a home behind, building a new one, making one of the most important financial and personal decisions of their life.

And in that process, what you need most is not just an agent who knows market prices.
You need someone who is truly present.

What does a doula actually do?

In the world of childbirth, a doula does not replace a doctor or a midwife.
Their role is to support: to be present before, during, and after. To provide emotional grounding. To translate what’s happening into human terms.

To make sure the person going through the experience feels seen, heard, and feels safe.

That is exactly what I do in the real estate process.

I’m not just the person who sends you property listings or drafts a contract.
I’m the one who helps you define what you’re really looking for, even when you’re not fully sure yourself.

I’m the one who walks with you through viewings with a clear eye, noticing what excitement might hide.
I’m there when doubts appear, even at eleven at night.
I celebrate with you when you sign… and I stay when things get complicated.

A property is not bought with the mind alone.
It is bought (and sold )with your story, your fears, and your dreams.
My role is to guide you through all of it.

Why this name represents me

I have over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry.
I’ve worked in Mexico, crossed borders, and experienced firsthand what it means to start over in a new country.

I’ve supported families buying their first home with trembling hands, and business owners closing major deals with a confidence that, underneath, carried years of effort and emotion.

Over time, I realized that what makes me different is not only my knowledge of the market—though that matters—but the way I show up for people.

Not in front of them.
Not behind them.
But beside them.

The word “doula” was not a marketing strategy.
It was a recognition—like when someone finally names something you’ve been all along, but didn’t yet have words for.

What I do as a Real Estate Doula

My approach has four key stages:

The First Conversation or The Coffee meeting
Before talking about square meters or locations, I listen. I understand your context, what’s happening in your life and why this change matters.

The Connection Agreement
When we both feel we’re the right fit, we formalize the process. It’s not just a contract, it’s a real commitment.

The Journey
The active phase: search, viewings, decisions, management. Where my experience and network work for you, and where I stay present through every step.

The Ongoing Relationship
The relationship doesn’t end at signing. A well-supported process leaves a lasting impact, and that doesn’t close with a file.

Who this is for

I don’t work with everyone, and that is intentional.

I work with people who understand that the value of being well supported is just as important as the price per square meter.
People who are willing to be honest about their fears, limits, and dreams, and who also expect honesty in return.

If this resonates with you, you may not be looking for just a real estate agent.

You may be looking for a Real Estate Doula.

And that’s exactly why I’m here.
